Standards

The school  reports to the Local Authority and the Department for Education at the end of the Reception year (Early Years Foundation Stage), end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2) and the end of Year 4. At the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6), results are again reported to the two bodies previously mentioned by the Middle school.

 

At the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception Year) children are assessed against all 17 of the Early Learning Goals. 

In 2016 the percentage of children who achieved good levels of development within that cohort was 82%. The national average was 69.3%.

 

The results of the Phonics Screening Check at the end of Year 1 showed that 70% of the children achieved the threshold.
